The Wahyas of Walker'southward Run miniseries has always been original, and the 4th release is even more artistic than the prior books. Pairing a she-wolf shifter with a man who tin turn into a raven is definitely interesting, and Kristal Hollis fabricated each moment in the story truly believable. Pairing a she-wolf shifter with a man who tin turn into a raven is definitely interesting, and Kristal Hollis made each moment in the story truly believable. From fascinating circumstances to well-developed characters, I ever felt as though any happenings in Captivated Past THE SHE-WOLF could actually accept place but as described. The world envisioned by the writer is certainly unique, yet had me wanting to think the place could really exist somewhere, especially since many of the characters are so likable.

After the death of her mate, Ronni Lyles is able to move to northeast Georgia and join the Walker's Run pack. The female wolf-shifter now has a proficient job and tin can provide for her teenage son, so she is in no hurry to choose another mate. Just when Ronni gets discussion that her brother-in-law wants her son to be his family plus make her his wife, she needs to quickly find a solution which will go along the demanding man out of her life.

A new resident in Maico where Walker's Run is located is Bodie Gryffon. He has come up to the area because the protected sanctuary belonging to the wolves is a corking location where his daughter can live without coming to harm. Both he and his child are raven-shifters, and they could go prey to many unlike beings. An effect has Bodie and Ronni connecting, and they agree to an system that volition benefit them both. Yet when feelings get involved, the deal they made becomes more complicated.

Though this is the fourth volume in the miniseries, the story would even so be enjoyable even if the other books had not been read. The previous romantic couple are featured from time to time, and it was great catching up on their lives plus seeing them interact with Bodie and Ronni. There are lots of individuals in the story, some nice and others not and so pleasant, and the personalities of each one came alive with the author's careful portrayals. Bodie is a wonderful hero, as he is thoughtful and has a such delightful sense of humor. I laughed so many times considering of his sharp wit, and his ponderings while in bird form are often priceless.

How Ronni responded to the new man in town showed they had a stiff bail, just they had so much going confronting them always having a permanent human relationship. With Bodie beingness a raven shifter and Ronni being able to turn into a gorgeous wolf, they have unlike abilities and beliefs. Toss in an interfering relative along with those who follow the quondam ways, and this couple had many obstacles that could keep them autonomously. I never knew from one minute to the next what they would face up, and I was in for numerous surprises and plenty of heartfelt incidents. Absorbed By THE SHE-WOLF is an enthralling paranormal romance where situations are always imaginative and often depicted with candid honesty.

I voluntarily reviewed the book and all comments are my honest opinion

The mythology KHollis has created surrounding her Wahyas has kept me enthralled with this serial. In Captivated by the She-Wolf , she incorporates a Native American myth and the issue was, well, captivating. Here are the highlights:

*Ronni and Bodie
I previously met Ronnie merely getting the risk to know her amend, well I couldn't believe every single male Wahya wasn't knocking on her door. Not only is she a great mom just she'southward also a compassionate woman. She'southward always putting anybody else first - in fact, she hardly always considers herself. And so when she meets Bodie and feels that pull towards him, she does her best to ignore information technology. Bodie is as well an astonishing parent, raising his teenage daughter on his own subsequently losing his wife. He besides takes care of his mom although she does a lot to help him as well. Bodie is a human of principles, non-trigger-happy, protective - most everything he does is with a mind towards his family. Meeting Ronnie, he was immediately enchanted but then he began to feel that pull. Just can a raven-shifter find a true mate in a wolf-shifter?

*Mythology
As I said, the mythology KHollis has created around her Wahyans - wolf-shifters - makes her stories that much more compelling. Their history, their dynamics as a shifter society and as a society hiding amid humans, how their shifts work, and what happens when they find the ane - it all adds depth to the characters and their stories. That KHollis chose to incorporate a Native American myth intrigued me. The way she did it was brilliant and seamless.

*Humor
The banter between Ronnie and Bodie was quite comical a lot of the time. He teased her - often - and oftentimes at times Ronnie most needed the distraction from something more serious. That brought levity to the story when needed and also conveyed layers of Bodie's personality.

*Secondary Bandage
One of the things I appreciate most in this series is the dynamics between the wolves. That requires a well-rounded supporting bandage and I was thrilled to spend thime with those I'd previously met, seeing how they're doing likewise as how they welcomed Bodie and his family into the pack. Getting to spend time wtih Ronnie'south son, Alex, his friend, Lucas, and Bodie's daughter, Willow, was likewise a pleasure. KHollis portrayed these teens well.

*Suspense and Emotion
KHollis created some intense suspense using Ronnie's past likewise as mythology surrounding Bodie and his raven-shifters. In that location was some white knuckling, some gasping, and maybe even a few tears.

In the finish, I was so enchanted with the blending of the Native American myth into that of the Wahyan that I didn't mind ane bit that this story wasn't only about wolves. And I'm looking frontwards to seeing how Bodie and Ronnie's blended family impacts Wahyan life and behavior.

**I received an ARC from the author. This did not affect my rating and my review is provided voluntarily.**
